The Grand Vault

A campaign mechanic built around collecting Arcane Keys, binding a place in a shared magical vault, and revealing every reward together at the end of the campaign.

Core idea

Keys can be earned through partner communities, NFT ownership, quests or direct giveaways. Each key lets the holder claim a sealed position in the Grand Vault. The reward remains hidden until the global Grand Unsealing, so participation stays valuable throughout the full campaign rather than dropping once headline prizes are discovered.

01 · EarnReceive an Arcane Key.
02 · BindChoose and claim a vault seal.
03 · WaitThe seal remains magically bound.
04 · RevealAll rewards unseal together.

What these mockups explore

  • A more thematic alternative to “time-locked chests”.
  • A shared wall that gives the campaign visible scale and activity.
  • A satisfying action when a key is used, even before the prize is known.
  • A reveal event that can become a social/community moment.
  • A results view that works with both in-game items and USDC.
Grand Vault main screen concept
Concept 01 Shared hub

The shared vault wall

The campaign becomes a place players can revisit, rather than a simple claim screen. The vault wall borrows the same playful fantasy language as the current project and turns the mechanic into a visible, scrollable destination.

VisualScale: the wall makes campaign participation visible.
UXCountdown: one global Grand Unsealing timer gives the delay a clear reason.
CommunityActivity: show seals bound, recent claims, or partner-community activity.
Bind a Seal interaction concept
Concept 02 Key interaction

Binding a seal

The key does something immediately: it claims and magically binds a seal rather than pretending to open something that remains locked. That makes the action feel meaningful right away.

AnimationKey inserts → runes ignite → seal binds → ownership marker appears.
VariationPartner communities could have visually distinct key skins without needing different mechanics.
ClarityUse language like Bind, Claim and Unseal instead of “open later”.
Grand Unsealing live reveal concept
Concept 03 Finale moment

The Grand Unsealing

The reveal is treated as a campaign finale instead of a silent state change. At zero, doors across the vault open with different colours, rarity effects and featured prize moments.

SpectacleUse rarity-specific light, particles and door-opening animations.
SocialFeature significant reveals such as larger USDC prizes or rare items.
RetentionPlayers can watch globally, but still have a clear Reveal My Seals action.

Concept 04 Collection flow

Rewards and results

After the event, the experience shifts naturally back toward the existing collection UI. In-game items keep the established collectible-card feel, while USDC prizes get a matching but clearly separate reward treatment.

ItemsEquipment, cosmetics, relics, pets, keys or other game inventory.
CurrencyUSDC rewards shown as unmistakable currency prize tiles.
HistoryThe vault can remain as a permanent record of past campaign results.
